Your 60-Second Introduction
Your 60-second introduction is your elevator pitch. Every visitor gets about one minute to introduce themselves. The goal isn’t to sell everyone in the room. It’s to help us understand your business and recognize opportunities to refer you.
What to include
Section titled “What to include”A simple introduction should cover:
- Your name and business name
- A brief explanation of what your business does
- The types of clients or customers you enjoy working with
- Your ideal referral: the type of person or business our members should introduce you to
- Industries or professionals that commonly refer business to you
A fill-in-the-blanks outline
Section titled “A fill-in-the-blanks outline”This outline just arranges the five points above:
Hi, I’m [name] with [business]. We [what you do, in one sentence]. I love working with [type of client]. A great referral for me this week is [one specific person or business]. I often get referrals from [industries or professionals]. Again, I’m [name] with [business].
